Remember the fairy tale Babes in the Wood? Remember the little boy and the little girl and that house made of sweets that they were so amazed by?
Well... In a fairy tale on our engineering competition we won't build houses of delicious slovenian food like prsut, gibanica, zlikrofi, njoki, polenta, chocolate Gorenjka, potica, teran, cvicek or Lasko... but of other construction materials.
We'll build a house which will resist an Adriatic bora, snow from Alps and Ljubljana's earthquake!
But don't worry - We will use cvicek, teran and Lasko everyday and potica, njoki and other specialities on Slovenian evening.
LBG Ljubljana and Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG) are waiting for your application for amazing fairy-tale house building engineering competition!
Are you good with your hands?? Do your fingers move quickly?? Do you wanna become universal engineer?? ☺ What do you think about 11 crazy days making handiwork with other 30 crazy participants from all over Europe?? And with even more crazier organizers that won't let you sleep because, yeah baby, you're going to party every night all night long!!!
And if you're scared of not being practical enough – don't worry, you will become!! On the other hand we will need theoreticians as well! ☺
Be Practical Engeneering competition will have two tasks: team design and case study.
Beside that you will definitely enjoy visiting beautiful places in the green land on the sunny side of the Alps and have lots of fun by tasting our traditional food and drinks (!!!!)…
